Mikey, Fletch, Algor, and 2 other guys from work and myself traded off playing 4 person Marvel Ultimate Alliance last night. It was quite fun, though annoying at some parts: One boss required you to lure explosive enemies into the a teleporter, though the thing is, with 4 people they never get close to the teleporter and would explode rather away from it. It took more than 20 minutes on that boss until it randomly decided to walk those enemies into the teleporter itself and end the battle. Also explosive barrels suck. Period. There is nothing like trying to avoid a boss since you are low on health only to have it throw fire in your direction, explode a barrel, and kill you, even though you thought you were out of the barrels radius.

I play as the Human Torch and just light up the entire screen with fire.

Apparently some people find this annoying.

Red Faction ~ Quite a bit further after beating Capek

Shadow of the Colossus ~ Beat 13, so that's 3 more to go.

I know not you since you were giggling like a little school girl.

Played Bully some this weekend. Interesting twist on the GTA sandbox games. A lot more structured since you ahve to sleep at 2 or else you pass out and might get robbed (oh $2 oh noes). Nothing special 3/5. Music is great though, especially when you ride a bike and get PeeWee Herman music.

Yay, glad you liked it Anybody else here give it a shot over the free weekend? Was a bit crazy and the server situation wasn't really ready for the free weekend, which did indeed result in a lot of lag, but I hope it didn't ruin it for anybody who gave it a go!

Tried it! I liked it alot when I found a dedicated server without lag. Great fun. I can imagine this being a great lan game for sure!

Too bad it costs 20 bucks :/ 10 bucks too much IMO.

I didn't know you were in the team, thats cool One thing tho, How many players does The Ship have regulary? Since I might buy it and I want to be sure that there are plenty of players even when it isnt a free week

Well I've gotta be honest - not exactly many. Typically you are looking at anywhere from 10 to 200 people online (was around 2000 over the free weekend). Use the Steam stats page to see how many are playing at times you would consider playing to get a feel for the sort of numbers you could expect...

    http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=stats&

I've seen a load of people who enjoy the game that are put off solely due to the limited player numbers, which is a real shame. Of course, the more people that take the plunge and buy it, the more people there will be playing online, and so the more people there will be who are willing to buy it. Bit of a vicious circle really!

I LOVE the ship. The gameplay in it is so good and the levels and art are dead on. In all honesty I would say the best game made on the source engine, not by valve. Keep up the good work Reno

    I currently am playing

    quake 3 [again]

    F.E.A.R. [again]
