Got it with my 360, really liked it there, one of the best launch titles for the 360 imo. Does get a tad repetitve later in the game but apart from that its pretty good~

Only played the demo. I'd rate it with a 7.5 or so. It's not great but good for awhile I think.

    But you'll love it.

...fucking lame. The game's great, I had a blast going through it... I lost interest really early in FEAR (which I found really underwhelming) but this one kept me through to the end. Some genuinely creepy/disturbing/jumpy moments in this one, too, without resorting to flashes of creepy zombie face like an online flash movie.

I enjoyed the demo (PC version), and while I can see where they are coming from with the comment about its similarities to FEAR - its hard to miss - I don't think thats a particularly good reason to stilt its scoring significantly. I'm planning on picking it up for the 360 rather than the PC, but I definately want to play it at some point either way.

Yup, FEAR really bored me most the way through. Condemned really tried to contain its creepiness and although you sometimes saw it coming then it did a great job at freaking you out through most of the game. I also loved the fact that they didnt go all supernatural on you (like way too many games do today, which sucks), and they kept it fairly down to earth, at least if you see some of the games stuff as psychological instead of real.

Anyway yeah, and this is a game you really should be playing with proper gamma settings (no brightness cheating!) and at night with all lights turned off, doubt any other game will come this close to scaring you

I rented it for 360 and it was quite good, but all in all I think it's more of a rent and beat it kind of game instead of paying the 60 dollar price tag.

Very good ambiance though, it really pulls you in and creeps you out. The fighting can get pretty intense and fun too. I really loved the variety of weapons... guns, wood planks, pipes, electric conduits, fireaxes, sledgehammers, crowbars, and my personal favorite... paper cutter blade

oh and almost forgot mannequin arms as well lol

Locker door was the coolest in my book, if a bit unwieldy.

Oh, btw, if you use guns in this game you're a weenie

Tried to do the "no guns in all levels" achivement but I gave up at some point, couldnt be bothered to play the game over again after getting all the birds and metal signs . The guns are so weak anyway and if you just use you tazer theres never and problem with the gun wielding dudes ~~

That main character guy in the middle, who isn't a zombie, seems to resemble Max Payne. Could just be me. But hey remember good old Max Payne games... wonder if they're ever gonna make another one?

Haha, he does look like Max a fair bit actually...

Max Payne 3 is my most anticipated game...
