By the way, its quite sad they havent done anything about their character design. Judging from the media they've been releasing recently then their characters still look utter crap. I was actually kind of hoping that it would get a bit better :G

Thankfully the environments look like they can make up for that.

Hopefully they can. Everything I've seen looks beautiful, but there was a very scathing report recently about hideous pop-up / draw distance issues, and near constant (though tiny) loading screens. As to whether or not it was trustworthy, I guess we'll just have to wait for some proper reviews.

If Oblivion is as good as Morrowind, im going to upgrade this PC just for the heck of it.

I heard its a review of the game out there? gave it a 9.5/10

AND STOVLE! They ARE working on that Fallout game. How many times must I tell you this? They have two seperate teams. One for the TES series and one for Fallout

I'm fairly confident that they can pull off a pretty good Fallout game. Seems like they know that its a strong IP with a strong fanbase and that they need to take it serious and not pull out some rushed generic RPG.

But then they might just be saying that to ease people down, thats been seen before :G

Marcos I know they are working on it, but after all the interveiws and such I've read that contains FO3 in them, none of them are really promissing. I bet they even remove the SPECIAL system.

Are you still languishing in the 98 era, or are we talking 2000 here?

Or even a Mac. You never know.

Surely you can move to XP?

Since he is working lots with Unreal, my guess would be linux.

yeah probably linux, BUT why would this only run on xp? come on it IS unreal engine3! maybe epic still works on that?

Unreal does not support Linux nor Mac, right now anyway. The engine does but the dev tools dont

Im using Win2000 and would like to keep doing so, its the same as xp but less bullshit and useless crap like a search engine that features a frigging dog that doesnt even entertain the average 4 year old with a mental problem

    Oblivion isnt UE3 btw

Pff dunno, I guess most games that are going to be released this year will need XP so maybe ill upgrade in a few months..
