i really dont think smoking was the problem in that speech...although i heared that when the marlboro man was diagnosed with lung cancer and went to the head of phillip morris, and asked him why he didnt smoke cigarettes, he said "smoking is for the poor, the young, the black and the stupid" and ive never forgotten that
