I've been working on this map for 2 weeks or something. Most of the brushwork is complete, but the lightning is something I'm not good at. Would be nice if you guys could give some tips. I've been tweaking around with the rad file, but it just don't seem right. Other tips beside the lightning are welcome to.

    (It's a HL1 dm map, with a texture-pack from philipk)

Waht compiled you suing? And what RAD settings? Might be worth messing with fade and dscale as your light placement looks reasonable enoguh. May want to inject some more colour into them though.

what is it with you people and typo's?

Try to add more blue to the light_envoirement and making the lights a bit more intens. Add sprites too.

Two thumbs up for the brushwork.

I dont think he has a skybox in any of those shots, but if he does, brighten the light_env up. I think the map should be brighter as right now its pretty hard to see anything, and especially during the heat of battle youre going to want to be able to see every exit around you pretty clearly.

The colors of the lights are quite good, though. I dont think that needs any changing.

    How ironic that is..

He's right though. Intensify the lights a bit, saturate the color some, and add some nice glowy sprites to make'm look pretty. The brushwork is great. <3 Reminds me a lot of AvP2, which is a very very good thing imo. AvP2 had some awesome map work.
