Legendary level designer Richard 'Levelord' Gray has died
Gray got his start with Duke Nukem 3D, before moving to co-found Ritual Entertainment.

This one hit hard. I remember reading his blog way back in the day about his adventures in Russia, going to the strip clubs there, and stuff like that.
