Apparently, the physics and AI were turned off... dunno if that's just damage control though.

    Parallax mapping looks gorgeous though.

I never understood what the big thing was about Halo, but I think I like Perfect Dark Zero, even tho it might seem just a tad similar to Halo.

    Saw the first one.

I loved the first one, one of my 5 favourite games, but I am not impressed at all by pdz.

Too much specular, too much bump, and wtf is that jet force gemini/syphon filter style gameplay?

I love when companies add new things to their franchises, but that third person part of the game just seems silly.

I hope the game turns out to be a killer anyway~.

The paralax mapping looks nice indeed, but im hardly impressed overall. But its really too hard to judge when the movies are this crappy quality.

Why similar? Because both are fps?

The ragdoll physics are weird indeed, but I wonder why the player shot at the dead bodies? To make sure that they are dead?

    Obviously not

They both look like they play pretty much the same and PDZ seems to compliment Halo on more than one occasion, it almost seems like PDZ is the Halo 3 with different graphics.

So, does Perfect Dark Zero not just play like the original Perfect Dark then?

As for the videos, I'm not hugely impressed. Some of the technical stuff is obviously nice, but from an artistic direction perspective it seems very uninspired. It should be the shit quality, it could just be the area shown, but it didn't seem like a particularly nice looking area.

    Judgement reserved.

I haven't seen a single (graphically) impressive 360 exclusive title yet.

Please, name one game that might impress me.

Gears of War? 'tis what all those old Unreal Engine 3 screenshots were of.

I think Chromehounds is pretty impressive. And Gears of War and UT2k7 if it is coming to Xenon. And the mother of all, Elderscroll IV: Oblivion.

Oh and have to add, Wardevil and that Project Offset (again, if that is coming to Xenon).

The ragdoll physics is hilariously overdone. Reminds me of Deus Ex 2 (ewww)

uninspired seems to be the right word here. isn't perfect dark supposed to be... well, dark? I didn't play much of the original, but it seemed as if most of it was in more sci-fi-ish areas, not realistic or real-world locations.
