Weird compile error

I have an error with lightning and/or cubemaps. When I do transition at one point of a map to another, suddenly models turn black. Players, weapons, etc. As seen in screenshot below.

Static props and world geometry are not affected by this error. I've tried to rebuild map with different setting, deleting and recreating problematic cubemap/light, different type of light (static, stationary, dynamic). Error persist. And the error is only at this one spot on the map.

Second problem is with compiling maps. I have Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB DDR4 and Radeon RX 6800XT 16GB. And everything was fine until some late april or early may update. Since then I have VRAD portion of compiling errors and crashes. But sometimes compiling finishes fine.

Error line is always same: "'ERROR! VK call failed! result = VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST ( vkQueueSubmit( pQueue, 1, &submitInfo, pFence->Get() ) )". From there error loops or CS2 crashes.

I've been trying with reinstalling steam, CS2, newer or older driver (with factory reset or DDU program), also tried to verify integrity of cache. Nothing helps. I've tried on friend computer, with RTX 3060, and compiling went fine.

Before typing some comment "Just buy Nvidia RTX card", just know that in my country Nvidia cards are overpriced. Basic RTX 4070 is 650-700$ or more, RTX 4060 starts around 500-550$. Even second hand ones are expensive. RTX 3070 are 350-400$, and 3080 450$ and up. And salaries are low.

Anyone has any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks.

Hey! Try to make your box of your cubemap slightly larger than the area it should cover. Otherwise models are not properly lit when you come too close to the border of the cubemap box.

For the VK device lost error, have you tried downgrading your drivers? Try switching to Adrenalin Edition 24.1.1 and see if that fixes it. I've had to do this recently to fix that error so let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you guys. So much. Cubemap blackness is fixed. Ana GPU compile is running fine. 4k lightmap, standard quality. I will try later 8k, final quality, and see results. This is a life saver. Thanks again.
