Alright, Howdy, Name's SrVerataro, Verataro or just Taro, let's start with a quick history lesson, shall we?
Back in ye old days in North America, people thought it was a great idea to mine for the minerals beneath the dirt and the stone, and to be fair, it was a great idea, so companies all were salivating for a piece of land with any kind of metal beneath the ground, and after a lot of investment and bureaucracy, the first problem made itself clear.
"How do we get people to work on the mine? -The owners cried"
Because the mines were god knows where and if you worked at a mine a horse aint exactly in the budget, the companies came with a solution: "Mining Towns", a town that was exclusively mad to house workers and their families, a town with a singular industry to sustain it, a town that is on life support since it's foundation
So the mines get dry, the money stop flowing, the company moves on, there's an exodus of the workers and in the end only a husk remains, structures without a purpose, more a mockery of a town than a town in on itself
and this happened many, many times, too much for me to remember them all, but, there's one that lives rent free in my head, so I'll be making a map inspired by it, here, take a look at the
