A Japanese styled environment I've been working for a few days. Looking forward for critique on the proportions and composition :D

Been working on the foliage for the scene. I've also updated the overall look of the scene and tweaked the lighting. Nothing is final of course.

This is just personal opinion, but from a composition standpoint I’m not sure about the symmetry extending even to the rocks in the foreground. Plus that plant in front is really on the nose in that respect. I think the screenshot would be more interesting if you had a smaller rock setup in the foreground and didn’t go for symmetry with them. The scene already has lots of symmetry and the foreground is an opportunity to intentionally go against that in an interesting way that makes the overall scene more memorable and unique. /nitpick

Good point from Fmpone regarding the simmetria, especially when you compare to the blackouts that didn’t have such a strong accent on it. Although I understand that Far East => zen => symmetry it’s a bit too artificial at the moment.

Can you get one of those Unreal templates/plug-ins and make a ninja mini-game? I want to jump and run around this ?

Decided to completely change the color scheme and the lighting setup for the scene. Hopefully this makes it look less dull now :)

I like both lighting styles personally. It's cool to see you pushing scale on the scene and really emphasizing verticality with the buildings. But I think this one is overly bloomy in terms of the brightness, and overly saturated on the greens. Getting green values right is really hard. When you bring those saturation values down and look at your scene you should be able to tell where the buildings are lacking in detail, because the saturation is acting as an attention sponge right now.

Love the soft pastels and great touches on the bloom. You nailed the architecture too, amazing work.

The interior lighting is probably still temp but it feels a tad bright, I wonder what it would look like if you darkened and saturated the lighting a little bit, it could make it look more cozy.

Really loving this, killing it congrats.
