Not the jamba-stuff, no. Its kind of hard to explain, most of my commercials have phones in m. One phone transforming with speakers on the side, a purple one with a turntable (oldy), lots of silly ones where a phone drops on the floor and the floor changes into these wallpapers
Theres a Jamba diss we made a while ago but it was cancelled
Itll be alterered now, an Elephant dropping on a mouse instead of an elephant dropping on 3 of the Jamba characters. We still plan to release it on the Net, just to piss Jamba off. Its fun, I dont complain ;PThe Jamba commercials (The frog and Tweety) are actually very well made and animated by this guy:

Jamba needs to die, I saw the commercial for the first time ever yesterday on MTV ("Pimp My Ride" was on) and I barely watch TV ... for a first time; it was a pain in the arse.

Wel a HL1 remake whats done by someone who's probebly mapping for the 1st time will look just like the HL1 map or in most cases worst.
Alot of the ported maps are straight ports often with the orriginal textures as well.
But the sad problem is that most good looking maps don't play that good.
To take my own maps as example, I think they are to large to be fun on custom map servers. I think a custom map has most chance of playing when the enemy's can get/find eatchother fast in the game so the players don't get to bored even with low numbers playing.
Now I'm working on a port of assault myself now, basicly out of grief of the crappiness of the current ports, if players like it so mutch they might as well have a decent looking map to play on

When I saw the Valve port and see they used the same hangaar type as they did in de_port and cs_compound I desided to give it a go.
I used a more free approach with a european industry terrain setting like you would find it here in Belgium, the map still plays and feels like assault but doesn't look exacly the same.
Oh and I'm not saying I could do it better then Valve, I just took a different direction into something I wanted to play, and press my personal mark on what you could start to call the assault saga

I'll probebly post the map in the finished work gallery so you guys can bash on it

I don't think I'll ever understand people's fascination with remaking Assault - why do something thats been done dozens of times before? At least you are trying to take it in a different direction so thats a good thing, but even the "I'm fed up with the crappy remakes so I'll make a good one" excuse/justfication is getting old now.

I think it has something to do with that the original cs_assault played like shit, but when the remakes opened up for some more routes, then it became a very fun and interesting map. Especially cs_winter_assault and cs_assault_upc did it very well.

Why should he be pissed off ? People remake official maps all the time, theres nothing wrong with that...
