Battlefield 2 Demo is OUT!

I'm unable to join a server. Now that's a rather annoying bug.

The demo even have weapons that can be unlocked! : http://www.shatteredminds.net/skit/unlockedweapons.avi

Go to row 44 in the file "battlefield 2 demo\python\bf2\stats\unlock.py" and change the zeros into ones

Bf series is going to a better direction imo. It´s less arcade than the other bf games but still very arcade. Gameplay is great, demo doesn´t run as well as I hoped it would, crashing and stuff like that. Squad gameplay is awesome if you got the right people in.

I'm happy cause I just found out 1280x1024 IS supported, you just have to add '+szx 1280 +szy 1024' to the shortcut target.

seems to be very unstable for me . Definately time to upgrade soon . Was it me, or did the helicopter and aircraft seem hard to control?

The best part, hands down, of bf2 is the fact that you can be a medic, kill a teamate, revive him and do it again.

If I could actually join a multiplayer game~

As for the game itself, I'm partly disappointed due to the lack of decent physics and breakables. Everything is just so static as always, contrary to that cheesy trailer that was released earlier.

Pretty neat demo, only played single player so far...

I like the sounds a lot, and the weapon models are pretty nice.

Runs really smooth on max details, I'm pleased.
