This is more of a personal preference, but I would like to see a larger rescue zone (or even two rescue zones :O), similar to maps like concert. I feel like this increases options for CTs after reaching the hostage.
A few minor things, I hope that tiny fence at the area looking down to the bridge isn't going to be the basis for the actual barrier, especially since the exact same barrier is able to be jumped over at CT spawn. Also, just so you know, you can actually use the hostage to jump up that one way drop if it spawns next to it.
Without a playtest, I can't really give a ton of feedback, but it's looking really good so far

Thank you both for taking the time to lookaround. The hostage rescue zone should be seeing some adjustments and some path widening soon which I hope will address yoiur concerns in that regard. Your other points are all spot on and will be fixed in the next update. Thanks again for the interest and helpful feedback.

It has been quite a while since I have posted an update so here is some information on where I have been. A bunch of real-world factors from starting a new job to losing part of my vision resulted in my progress stalling but I am happy to report I am back to working on Ivory.
I am still trying to develop a visual style I am happy with and getting the lighting right which is proving a challenge as I am new to making night maps. This was another one of my goals with this project in pushing myself to try something outside my comfort zone; I just hope I haven't bitten off more than I can thew. I am aware working alone means I have an extra layer of difficulty compared to some of the other entries but I believe I can still produce a fun and well designed final product. Hopefully, I can have a version ready for the deadline, finishing at all will be an achievement I can be proud of but a top 10 spot would be even more amazing!
Finally thank you to everyone who has asked me about Ivory and shown an interest in Ivory, either here or in private messages. Your support really helps me find the motivation to continue working.

Progress continues! Everything is still a work in progress but I can feel the progress in every compile. I have adjusted the sky a lot and am still fine-tuning the colours. The map is now a lot greener overall to break up al the orange rock and wood. The interiors are also developing but I still have a way to go in selling an African feel to them. As always, comments and constructive criticism are much appreciated!

ZooL wrote a few scripts for me to get it to work. I would talk to him about it for more information.

Merry Christmas Mapcore! I am still having some issues making the right hostage area play correctly. Balancing architecture and gameplay is always hard but here it has presented me with a particular challenge. Going to have to do my best with what I have now that the deadline is closing in. I'm learning more about level design for the hostage game-mode every day so if there is one thing I come out of this project with, it will be a deeper set of knowledge for future maps! Below I have included a provisional radar to illustrate the maps current state.

@Quadratic and I are in full-on crunch mode pushing to get Ivory in the best possible state before the deadline and I am very pleased with what has been achieved thus far. Here are a few of the last screenshots before the final release!

The map's looking really clean and easy to read, yet so colourful and unique at the same time!

I am happy to announce Ivory now has a publicly available release candidate which can be downloaded from the workshop:

We will continue to make final adjustments in the coming days; good luck to everyone submitting an entry to the contest!

I really love the theme of the map. It's incredibly cozy. There aren't many flaws, and the atmosphere is superb. I would say the largest issue might be how similar the map feels to Zoo. It might just be the rocks. I'll list my other nit-picks here:
I suggest putting some wood over this texture transition.
I suggest you replace this with a more high-res model...
I don't know what this is. It's small anyway.
This is surely one of my favorite entries, and I wish you luck!
