Where'd Sprony go?

I was wondering the same the other day, Sprony are you alive??

Don't really want to talk at his place, but we had a discussion about it and it's unlikely we will see him active here again.

Oh! Hope he's alright. Can we a bit of transparency on the issue?

Was a bit worried by the tweet when he had to drop out the map contest.

I logged in today because I've been receiving a lot of messages on Facebook, Twitter, Steam and what not. I appreciate everyone's concern, but I'm not sick and I don't have too much on plate nor do I have personal issues going on. In fact, I'm doing great. I made the decision to leave this community. It was a tough one, but other people forced my hands in this. I will not go into detail, nor will I name people, but it all comes down to me being led on with false promises. I don't like being manipulated and I certainly don't like it when people speak on my behalf or write this off as me being busy. I put six years of my life into this site and it's a real shame I have to leave this way. But in short, I can't tolerate being treated like this, so I'm saying goodbye to you all. Maybe we'll meet again. So long Mapcore!

They were just his. He posted about it in Discord, but then deleted those messages as well... He said it's a big distraction and wasn't going to further comment on this.

I will miss you Sprony, you gave me great advice ❤️

I agree, were that the case it would be a shame. Against my better instincts I'm making this one, last comment on this.

-On the contrary, we have encouraged him to return and when he says he is leaving, I wish him well.

-I deleted my posts here because I'm not going to get dragged into commenting on stuff, that, in my opinion is totally misleading. Sprony is welcome here, the decision to leave is his.

-He will remain a staff member in case he changes his mind on reducing his own involvement.

Hopefully, this message will serve to answer any and all questions on this topic. I don't want to be involved in "drama" that has no substance. There are only so many ways to say "Sprony is still a staff member and is welcome here if and when he wants to walk through that door."
