I think it's easy to forget that the game gear is an 8bit console, akin to NES and the Master System too. But then again, the game boy was too, and the game selection was far superior.

Yes, I agree. The software could have been good, but I think it was just the fact that they made the games so impossible. They just overshot the difficulty in many of the game designs.
It was really hard to even get past the first level of this.

Yeap, I've said this many times, and I'll say it again, we're gonna be talking about Zelda BotW for decades to come. It's one of the most important games in a while, it's a pure "video game" experience, on a freaking handheld. ahah

I took a break from Zelda, which became an extended break, in order to savor it like a fine wine. I’m back and I’m loving it!
Such an adventure, such great music.

"Nintendo designer and producer Shigeru Miyamoto has been recognized as a Person of Cultural Merit by Japan. This award is reserved for Japanese citizens who've made enormous cultural contributions or advancements through their work, creations, or discoveries. It's hard to overstate the significance of receiving it.
Beyond Nintendo's most amicable face, Miyamoto is known as the creator of Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Star Fox, to say nothing of his role in countless other Nintendo games. It's no exaggeration to say his ideas have brought happiness to untold millions, and many are still flourishing as Nintendo's tentpole franchises."

Never played Sunshine so It's reason enough to wanna pick this up.
It's a shame that Mario 64 runs at 720@30fps, specially after that sm64 decompiled code PC version going around the web letting you play 4k@60fps + widescreen.
