Hey Everyone
I spent the last 3 weeks redesigning my website via custom wordpress theme I built. I was getting fed up with the existing wordpress themes and decided the only way I can get the look I want is to do everything totally from scratch.
The design choices I went with are partially a comment on how I feel about modern web design. Sites like polygon and other more modern designs I really dislike. I find them borderline unreadable. For this design I had the goal of not using Javascript which I managed to achieve. There's no javascript in my theme code at all (there is however the footer injected javascript for required WP stuff). All responsiveness is done purely in CSS.
