    I remenber living in Germany was a bit frustrating because dubbed movies were actually the "standard" over there, no one has the habit of reading subtitles so they dubbed every movie and you'd need to look for special cinemas to would play the original. That is fucking retarded tbh, you wouldn't want to listen to your favourit bands in your language either.

    I can find the original version and here is France it's still easy to watch the movies like that, you'll find the UGC theaters for that and that's cool, but the release is the same than the traducted movie.

    I listened to the audiobook a month(?) ago and saw the movie today. Very much enjoyed the movie although wish I hadn't read the book before as it 1) obviously spoiled the movie 2) I was constantly comparing the movie to the book while watching it. I loved the opening scene with the Alien tribute (title and music). Solid 3.5 / 5.0

    Yeap, definitely agree with the spoilered comments above. Although, again, you can only cram so much content in a 2 hour movie, if you want the more detailed experience, the book is not gonna go anywhere. :)

    Saw this last weekend with some friends and loved it. Wasn't what I was expecting and had a few good laughs in it.

    Audiobook shall be next on my cards once I've finished GoT!

    Went to cinema yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. My girl although she was sceptical liked it… science! :D

    Was expecting it to be more serious and dramatic, while with the several jokes it made it flow quicker.

    For me the first really good movie from Scott since Matchstick Man.

    Finally the movie has been released in France.

    I was in it. I was so absorbed in the movie that I was really believing this is happening. Idea and such popped in my mind I was like "Omg maybe in my lifetime I'll witness human landing on Mars" and I already know that day I'll cry from all my soul and goosebumps from every part of my body as the best adventure ever! Gj Ridley Scott.

    And yes, didn't feel he was worried at all for his life.

    It was good to see it, even if they cut some things / actions presented in the book (I'm of course a bit disappointed about this point but...well for me it stays a very good movie to see). :)

    Saw it last Tuesday when James Bond released, room was empty (6th week in theaters). I didn't watch any of the trailers. Pretty damn good except it's a bit predictable. 6$ well worth it though :)
