This is really techdemo level stuff!!

The material setup reminded me of Crytek's Ryse game, the marble material have pretty much the same looks.

Haha thanks guys! Yeah not gonna lie first place would be nice but that winged throne does look pretty impressive! And also the prizes are fucking cool too!

By the way, I got this to run on Oculus last weekend, it's pretty surreal to walk around your own creation It's still very rough and I need to optimize it a bit, but once I'm down with that I'll release both a VR and a regular version so you guys can check out the scene ingame!

Holy moly....that is looking even better in motion. Would you consider releasing the assets for designers to use in their levels? Or would that be pointless because the assets are not prepared for this?

Me and Martin have been talking about expanding the base kit and putting the assets for sale but I definitely plan to release a playable version and the unreal package (without the extra pieces) soon. The VR version will probably take longer since I have to optimize the hell out of it. Also waiting on Unreal 4.8, there are some huge performance improvements coming up for VR on that release.

It's really awesome to walk around the level in VR by the way, the scale feels much much better than you can ever realize on screenshots and videos. Since you have no reference points such as characters walking around it's really hard to get a proper grasp of the scale, but in VR on the other hand everything feels right since you have your own body as reference. We made sure everything we made everything was to the right scale.

I've been really busy with a lot of projects going on at the same time though, crunching at work on and off and my mom is also coming to visit me soon so it will take a while until I put it all up

Funny that about a year and a half ago I was struggling to find personal projects to work on but now I have so much shit I want to do that I have to start giving up on things.
