I'm not sure if it's on sale, but Endless Space 2 is awesome, 4x game. Totally recommend it, I've actually spent more time on that series than Civ I think O.o
-
bought northgard, it's only 15% off and it's an early access game, but still, it's surprisingly polished already and a lot of fun, it's a different kind of rts, people compare it to banished and settlers or civ, can recommend, I'm having way more fun than I had in civ5.
multiplayer is really active as well.

this comes in their DRM-FREE sale (so I imagine you can download the game outside Steam if you don't want to use that)

I haven't bought anything on Steam for over a year now (skipped summer sale 2016 and winter sale 2016), opting for "trying" to play and finish my steam backlog of games; so far it's working

This sale I decided to get only 2 DLCs

Substance Designer will have to wait, maybe for further drop in price

My final purchase was subnautica. I have a co-worker here who picked it up and loves it. Every day he keeps asking me "so did you get subnautica yet?"
-
oh yeah, was finishing today... didn't get anything this time, although there were couple things I was tempted to get just because.
-
Got Dead Cell, love it

Fallout is free to own on Steam, offer ends September 30th

So not Steam, but Green Man Gaming is having a sale right now
https://www.greenmangaming.com/hot-deals/
there is stuff like Thief at €6, but I'm linking the thing because it is supposed to give away a free game every 6 hours, to quote the newsletter
"10+ FREE games*! This weekend only, every 6 hours we will have a new free game and a sick deal for you on our V.I.P page! "

It's frustrating me that Dark Souls 3's DLC isn't on sale in the steam thanksgiving sale. It's currently a dollar more expensive than the base game. I figured waiting a few months would net me a deal. I was really disappointed with DS3's mechanics and world design, but I still want to experience the DLC for the lore.

I noticed this happens often, the big SP DLC for Bioshock Infinite never went below 50% for ages and think to remember there was the same price situation.

Another free game on Humble Bundle! It's XCOM Declassified

It's not great but I had it in the list for a while just to play something random. Can't get better than this.
