Dva has a relatively weak damage output at anything but the closest range though. Plus it's so damn fun being able to use that ult effectively ![]()
I do agree that her being immune to her own ult might be a little much though.

I think they should restore the gameplay element of the ult killing D.Va, not as a buff or debuff or w/e, but because losing it loses a strategic moment of the game of running from the big explosion you just triggered to kill a bunch of other people who couldn't get away. That little moment was fun and they killed it.
Also a bunch of people might not realize that's the case since throughout the game you mostly *can* hurt yourself with explosions, and so they would still hide from the self destruct and put them at an unintuitive disadvantage to other players.
Ana's nice I guess but with the survivability buff to Zenyatta I basically never want to play another hero again.
So fun
This summarizes Overwatch for me, not that I've played as much as some people.

It feels like all the crazy ingredients put in place just tend to create interesting situations. The risk is that they could create total chaos, but it always feels fun. I really like this aspect of the game
What's everyone's opinion of the granny character? She plays a bit too weak and ineffective for me (much like a granny that hasn't had enough tea)
she has the best heal burst, 75 shot, 100 aoe grenade + 100% healing from other sources
she also hits pretty hard, 80 isn't bad at all
oh and zen has turned into a god, massive difference.
hmm maybe we were getting fucked over by zen last night and not relising it. I was aware of the D.va changes and the new character but was a bit ignorant of further changes.
Would you say she's quite aim based? that's probably why I can't use her ![]()
well yeah obviously you need to hit your allies to heal them ![]()
although hitboxes aren't perfect, you can miss a few inches and it still registers
Zen's about the same level of healer as Ana and a significantly better fighter. Ana's advantage is her specials, ESPECIALLY her bio-grenade thing that blocks enemy healing. It's a huge help for fighting against those annoyingly good roadhogs you sometimes run into. Of course, on a well organized team zen's orb of discord could theoretically have a similar effect, but that requires a level of organizing that OW just isn't about.
Also I don't see any problem with the game being generous, aimwise. Missing when you aim "close enough" is shitty, especially when most of the time the difference is down to lag, mouse quality, etc. Marxist game design for the win, imo. Fite me.
One really cool thing about Dva this patch is switching defense matrix to alternate fire and making it a resource rather than a one shot ability. This brings a whole new kind of bluff game when going face to face with close combat opponents. Should be really fun dueling and trying to figure out the other players defense matrix patterns.
The thing is, now, she is cancelling other's ultis too easily (Zarya's orbe, Mei's freezze device for example), it's awfull.
It cancels Zarya's orb and Mei's freeze? lmaoooooo

Imagine a Hanzo begins his ult, only for a genji to drop from above and deflect the ult arrow back at him, scoring a headshot and then the dragon killing their entire team.
Then Imagine that play being overtaken by a torbjorn turret as POTG
so this just happened, we lost even though we were standing on the point, whatever.
20 tick?

Didn't they modify the overtime to work so, that it's shorter and can't be dragged on forever? Maybe not, but I've also had few matches where I saw my friend on point but match ended anyway.
Been playing ranked now for awhile and I gotta say I'm surprised how enjoyable it's been just playing solo with random internet people. Considering the massive, massive player base I haven't run into griefers or quitters that often. Just few games here and there.
The competitive mode has been far more enjoyable experience over all than in other games. I just wish people would communicate over VOIP more often.
New D.va is ridiculous. Her block is always up when you need it so you're shooting down a lot more ultimates. I still hate that she's immune to her own ultimate explosion, mostly as a D.va player who thought it was fun to have to scramble away from it with everyone else - now I'm just guaranteed I'll kill at least one person shooting them in the back of the head and daring them to stay in the blast radius.
Ana is strong but people just player her like Widowmaker even though her gun does half damage. In my experience you want be with the offense heroes, usually not bothering with your scope, throwing grenades at your feet and sleeping people so they can run a train into them. Her sleep is really good for stopping Bastion, too.
