Looks promising and I really liked District 9, looking forward to it.
I was not really excited when Blomkamp announced this movie but the trailer looks promising. So looking forward to this.

Yeah I remember that Blomkamp got to make the movies just because of these reels, I remember seeing those back then, probably because of CGSociety.

You always have to take Sci-Fi with a pinch of salt, but what I thought was done so well is that it reflected the futuristic direction that games are currently taking us.
The ending was a bit fangled, but... other than that

I think Elysium suffered from studio involvement. It really felt as if it was forced in another direction somehow.

He played the lovable Vickus in Disctrict 9 (FOOK'N PRRRORNS), and does the mocap for CHAPPiE as well!
I looked it up a while ago, but it's a really nice story how he actually provided the means for Neill Blomkamp to learn how to direct. To return the favour Blomkamp is now letting him live his own dream of becoming an actor which he was never able to do before due to the state of film in South Africa at the time.
