    Was fun to watch tho, still curious to see what happens. I'm finding this worldcup actually extremly entertaining and it's awesome how it's bringing the world together.

    The curse of the best player. The best player from the previous year never makes it to the world cup's final. Bye to Cristiano Ronaldo.

    Awesome... it would nice to see police playing more music and using less tear gas and rubber slugs on the people.

    I got Spain wrong (turned out to be Chili).

    Got group D wrong (who could have guessed that both Italy and England would go home?)

    I got Ecuador wrong (turned out to be Swiss).

    I got Portugal wrong (turned out to be USA).

    And I got Russia wrong (turned out to be Algiers).


    10 out of 16 right, not bad. So guys, what are your predictions for the next round?


    I say:


    Brazil beats Chile.

    Columbia beats Uruguay.

    Netherlands beats Mexico.

    Costa Rica beats Greece (they shouldn't even be here).

    French beats Nigeria (not sure though, Nigeria performed well).

    Germany beats Algiers.

    Argentina beats Swiss.

    USA beats Belgium (sorry Squad and Ravage, but so far they haven't convinced me. But I do hope they win though).

    Sounds good although not too sure about the last one.


    You're right that Belgium is not putting a convincing show but I think experience (Belgium) will beat stamina/enthusiasm (USA) unless Klinsmann has some new tricks up his sleeve

    French - Nigeria (unless 3 players from the opposing team have the runs)

    Germany - Algiers (or another unconscious young will die while partying in France)

    Argentina - Swiss (I'm praying Messi to have the runs too)

    USA - Belgium (this is going to be the most boring game eva but anyway... 0 - 1 for Belgium)
