Dragon Age: Inquisition

Yeah this game has a shit ton of lore, and it's prob the best game, even though I think the new one has something really going for it.

DA:O $10 on steam...guess that answers that question. But can get DA:I for 25% off (PS4/Xbone/etc) on Amazon right now ("Cybermonday" deal)...

Ignore Inquisition for now and play Origins, you won't really do yourself and favours playing the 3rd in the series before the first.

Let's say I did just jump straight to the new one and didn't play origins, would I still be able to follow what's going on enough to enjoy it? Fancy giving it a go but not wanting to play the others.
