Monument Valley takes the same principle of impossible geometries of Echochrome and makes them looking friggin gorgeous. Really, as the guy says in the video below: "every screenshot could be printed out and hung on a wall".

My god, that art. Shame it's iOS-only, as I'm not playing something that beautiful on my iPhone. Hope it makes an appearance on the consoles.

yeah, the iPhone screen seems too small to make it justice, but on a Retina iPad it would be more than ok i'd say!

I saw a guy playing this on the plane yesterday. My wife and I just stared at it for 30 mins. Looks awesome!

    You guys don't like puzzles?

Bought it before leaving home to jump on the plane, and went through it during the flight (except last two chapters).

It's very good, I really like it, it's definitely the piece of art it seems. Unfortunately puzzles can hardly be considered as such, they're too straightforward and don't require thinking. And there are just 10 (as it seems). I understand that coming up with 3D puzzles is not as quick as for games like Angry Birds or Cut The Rope, but for this price I really want to play a bit longer, and feel more challenged.

Been playing while on the shitter. It looks really pretty and it is very moody. But the puzzles are, like blackdawg said, very easy, mostly clicking to walk to a button, then wait 5 seconds for the world to unwrap and twist in new fancy way before you walk to the next button.

Aye, finished it the other day, and I definitely agree that it felt a bit too easy. Just when the perspective bending puzzles were starting to get interesting, the game was over. Though stopping at a high note isn't the worst thing you can do, then it did end up feeling like they didn't explore the potential of their mechanics very thoroughly.

Gorgeous game tho, even if it wasn't challenging at any point then I still really enjoyed it.

I'm sure they'll make a more challenging sequel with the money from the original

They're not a two-man team like the name suggests, they're a company with three studios that also does multimedia design… they don't seem to be desperate at all.

I'm deffo asking for additional puzzles in the review I'll write when I'll finish it.
