Your map has quite a few flaws, and instead of accepting that and going back to the drawing board you've decided to argue with others and try to bash other people's maps. People here are trying to help you, but you're not respecting them or taking what they say into account. Your map has many problems, as others have already pointed out. This is a community filled with many experienced mappers and their goal is to help you, not abuse you or be unjust. This is probably your first map, and it has a lot of work to be done on it, so instead of arguging and getting super upset, try to listen to others that know more than you.

I'm thankful, to everyone, who tries to help. But actually, the only one, who wrote about my map was Plat, and RZL only in the status 1. RZL, suggested to remove all the models, change to the same brushes instead of models. Also, re-texture my map to bare grey box, as if it would change anything. Just spend like a few hours and achieve nothing, only worse results in the end. As for layout,I made it then I didn't know anything about source engine, but I'm simplifying it. Just that optimization is fighting against the gameplay and visuals. Also, vvis does a poor job, that adds up a lot of work. Also, those visuals mistakes from the source engine itself. No wonder, an old engine. But I will keep working on my map.

honestly after looking at your map I agree with RZL. you wouldn't be losing much by converting to greybox. The brushwork is super weird in areas..

4 hours ago, Dosentti said: I just downloaded my latest playtest demo. It seems to be corrupted or something. At least it doesn't work properly.

When I open it in demoui, it "connects to server" correctly and lets me watch the demo almost until end of warmup and then it says:

"Warning: cl_flushentitypacket, Update delta not found." at the upper right corner of the screen. Same time console foods with text "Update delta not found."

I also noted that the file is over 500MB.

Sorry about the corrupted file, seems to happen sometimes unfortunately. I know of no way to solve this problem :/

And yeah, I noticed the terribly large filesize and >90% of it would be an empty server, because the recording didn't seem to stop after everyone left. I'll try to prevent this from happening again, maybe it also reduces the chances of corruption.

Aight, it's ok. There wasn't much (negative) feedback in the comment feed and and I think I know pretty much all comments where they were and what they meant so it's not so important for me. I was just notifying in case it's something with new server that needs more attention /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" title=":)" width="15">

    Keep up the good work!

As much as I enjoy my CSGO-custom-map-maptest-community drama, Less bicker. Moar mapping! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" title=":D" width="15">

Also, RZL, would 28/3/2016 be okay? Looks like an open slot if map is acceptable. I'm okay with whatever's open though. Thanks!

If your map is hosted on the workshop, is it necessary to have a proper suffix since workshop updates automatically anyway?

Same thing seems to have happened to mine. Unfortunately I timed out after about 5 minutes so didn't manage to get much feedback from gameplay (plus me playing on my laptop was probably ruining balance), although the text chat is still present so I might get some limited use from that. Would there be any issue in me submitting it for Thursday exactly as was (unless there was anything majorly wrong with it)? I wont be able to play but can drag a friend in to play instead and answer any questions he relays to me /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" title=":P" width="15">

Sorry, but we won't playtest a map that is the same it was the last time. Please keep working on your map until you submit again. You can simplify your map quite a bit for example, as the flow of it was pretty unintuitive. There was also headpeek cover at some locations which you should remove imo.

Really sorry to do this but I've been roped into a work thing on Thursday night, can I postpone til Sunday? de_otocec_v1 :(

Or actually, I suppose I don't need to be there - I can just gather the feedback afterwards?

Yes, you can do that, but it's always nicer to have the mapper take part in the playtest, as it also motivates the playtesters to give more feedback. There is also no guarantee that the replay works. I'd suggest to postpone your submission until Sunday.

I happen to have some problems with my demo file too (de_aftermath_a5), once the warmup ends, everything stops moving, despite the chat, killfeed, bomb planted notifications and round win notifications still working. Also, it displays in red in the top right hand corner "WARNING: CL_FlushEntityPacket, Update delta not found".
