We've made a task list for the beta version of VHS Story. And these are only programming tasks...

at first I was ugh another "VHS" retro indie, but street fighter management game actually sounds super awesome

Digging the art and pop culture references I'm assuming that you're targeting PC for this to rally support on kickstarter, but is the gameplay right for that type of audience? It seems to be perfect for mobile to me. I'd keep mobile in mind when designing the UI and approach publishers of premium mobile titles like FDG Entertainment, Headup Games, Tilting Point etc.in case the Kickstarter fails. Testing the waters by asking for opinions on the Touch Arcade forums beforehand is another idea. Good luck!

Thank you! Of course, we're keeping in mind a version for tablets. But we want to release on PC first, yes. We plan to go to Greenlight and Kickstarter this (late) summer.

Anyway, thanks for advices and links. We will certanly take a look at these publishers!

    Ah, my kinda question!

Lots of stuff from The Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles. Casey Jones his mask and clubs. Raphael his sai. A random turtle shield. Donatello his outfit. Shredder his outfit.

Probably not it, but the slot machine logo resembles The Karate Kid logo quite a bit.

    Sub Zero and Raiden outfits.

    Indiana Jones outfit.

The bike triggers something as well but I can't remember.
