    MapCore Mini Texturing Challenge #01 | CS:GO Stickers


    Skill: Texturing

    Theme: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Stickers

    Guidelines:

    • Create a complete and finished sticker for the CS:GO Workshop
    • Details on how to make one can be found on the official CS:GO blog
    • Use this thread to post WIPs and questions.
    • Multiple entries are allowed and encouraged.

    Submission: Your sticker has to be on the CS:GO Workshop by the time of the deadline. You can leave a preview in the upcoming submission thread (plus a link to the workshop page of course).


    Deadline: March 10 (2 weeks from the time of posting)

    Awesome idea for the first contest!


    EDIT: Just checked out the tutorial. I didn't realize the sticker system was so... authentic? Either way it's awesome. It's like you could use those specs to send them off to the printers.

    Does anyone know how to preview how the stickers will wear? I can get them to show up on the sticker preview models as shown in the linked tutorial, but I'm curious if I'm getting the "unwear strength" thingy working right.


    Also: Crates!: paper, holo, and color change versions.

    This stuff is difficult


    Just practice, that's really the purpose of these Mapcore challenges, to get everybody involved and working on their skillset. I would give you some critique, to try to get more familiar with the photoshop tools like Stroke, etc. Learning the tool will help you make stuff more polished at least.
