One of the reasons why I choose the PS4:

The gunfight looked painfull in the first video... Art is really cool and refreshing, i'll track it for sure !

Yeah, that video makes the actual shooting mechanics look pretty rough, doesn't look like there's any aim assists on.

Does look quite pretty tho, definitely wanna see more of it.

I saw it at Sony's 2014 preview event in Santa Monica last week. Basically it looks very pretty but they showed maybe 2 minutes of gamplay mixed in with cutscenes. The art direction is awesome, the voice acting is great, the story concept sounds solid enough and makes me interested.

The gameplay, however, was not fully baked in the demo I watched. I kept thinking "it has next gen art but legacy gameplay. Seriously?" I have a wait and see feeling for this because of that. :-|

Good to know. And I really mean it that the art direction is awesome. Stunning even so kudos to Ready at Dawn for that. Can't wait to see more of this and how that gameplay fleshes out. Good luck.

I like it a lot, but for now it looks like a Gears Of War mod. In a good way, i mean, that's an awesome game... but because of the setting and the hype i'm hoping to see something more, like an heavier accent on exploration and puzzle solving above all (a-la Batman Arkham).

yeah, the world needs more Batman Arkham like kind of games.

Wow that is a lotta cutscenes. Looks like the framerate dropped quite a lot in that first shooting bit too.

What's the point of that optional QTE in that cutscene? Press Circle to dodge? Then you get to choose how to kill some random guy? That's just weird. Why can't I just shoot that guy, what makes him so special that I get to beat him up with button presses?

Also, I love how long they showed the weapon in the crate for. "Hey guys, look at our new PBR stuff! IT LOOKS SO REAL. LOOK AT IT!!!!! LOOK AT IT!"

That looks absolutely amazing, feels more like watching a movie than playing a game, why not

Don't know about the gameplay for that game, doesn't look like my cup of tea (useless QTEs and neverending cutscenes) but damn it looks nice...!

I look positively on the small added interactions, problem is really how fragmented the sequence seems to be. One of my complains with Alan Wake was how fragmented it was in the first good 1/3 of game, this would be even worse.

When the guy gets stuck for a sec in the planks? That's annoyingly self-indulgent. After all these years it still feels right to say "look at Half-Life".

Gameplay trailer consists of 10% actual gameplay, and it's completely uninspired.

The new Max Payne game was also interrupting with cut scenes really frequently, was one of my biggest problems with it!
