actually, 80% of the map is brand new stuff that wasn't in the original ravenholm.

I c, and i stand corrected if this is the case.

And it is correct, JAL didnt said that, neither did he said anything about stolen rfm, at least not in this post.

So if its not a rip off, then good job!

And the best of luck in the competition!

    Spellbinder.

Korny was simply taking the halflife 2 theme to an extreme

However if you could show us more screenshots of the difference you did in the layout to make it more DM'ish than it would help qwell this outburst of suspicion.

Not that I would have much respect, but KB has not modified any vmf from the source leak. I have seen and played very early builds with KB for play tests. The whole thing was built from scratch.

thanks for all the positive comments

    heres the layout:

    http://www.hlrally.net/warfle/misc/morbidlayout.jpg

the top left corner was the part i remade from the original ravenholm, the rest i added to change it into a circular shaped DM map. i guess you have to run through it to see exactly how it differs.

i guess i cant really prove that the map was built from scratch, but isnt the hl2 leak about 1-2 years old? i doubt ravenholm was even finished around the time it was originally leaked. you guys will just have to trust me on this

Ok, I studied the map differences and I have to say it´s a recreation and a darn good one.

    And KornyBizkit I trust you

    sry for doubting you
