Of course; do some light activity with the muscles you exercised.
Quote from ChimerayNow my question: The outdoor track goes up and down a bit but nothing spectacular either. Should I put the treadmill at an incline and aim for the same time/speed? Or am I better off trying to go faster? If I should put it at an incline what's a good percentage to start of with?
Depends on the goal you have, are you training for a run or just for your pleasure? It's always good to mix it up; friends training for runs told me they do steady long runs and alternate with shorter and faster runs. I've seen people sprint a few hundred meters, then settle at their standard rate, and repeat over their routine.
At the gym I tried the treadmill and run 45 mins on 5% or 7% and felt nothing, surely depends on your training. I understand treadmills are programmable, so you can even simulate an upnhill run.
I'd say you keep with what you are doing, improve some more your timing (try the sprints), and extend your routine. When you get to run a few more Km try something more elaborate like the inclination. Unless you have very tight schedules to workout, then it's best to seek a trainer's advice or some running programs.

It does. I hope you stretched when you were done.
For those of you who want to massage the muscle, you may want to look into getting a foam roller to iron out your trigger points. They can really help, especially if you have a particular muscle that's tight or in pain.

I remember the first time I worked out I had pain in my biceps for like a week.

Close to the fattest I've ever been when I got back to canada about 6 weeks ago. I have an eliptical here (used to jog a lot with bad footgear and messed up my knees, eliptical is far less painful). I also have a lot of freeweights. Just got a rowing machine but I dont have much experience using it.
I used to work out quite a bit about 5 years ago but that completely fell off.
Anyways I've slowly gone from 15 mins a day and no workout to about 60-90 mins a day at a higher resistance. I've gone from 15's to 30's for most bicep/tricep and similar gains the lighter motor weight exercises.
It's really depressing to see how few pushups I can do these days.
Anyways started at 250, haven't lost much weight but I think I've lost some fat. Sitting at about 247 now.
Also watching martial arts movies on the tablet while doing cardio is awesome. I built a mount to hold it so that I have to watch it with good posture while exercising.

I hope Mapcore doesn't turn into one of those bodybuilding forums where everyone just chats shit about random stuff and about how manly/fit they are.
-

None. Build up those callouses. If your palms sweat too much and you feel the weights slipping then buy chalk. But I doubt you'll need it.
-
Im lifting for couple of years and always with gloves guys it helps a lot
-
been doing it for as long as I remember without gloves, never had any problems.
-
not gonna lie sometimes the callouses rip off your hands on a deadlift or something and its gross, but that's why this thread exists. for manly reasons like that
-
I use gloves all the time and i would fucking die not one time while bench pressing more then 2x my body weight even when i got my spotter, good gloves give you that extra grip and if you think that you are more manly becouse you workout without gloves than just lolz
