New Strider game

I thought this was going to be a Valve game where you got to drive a strider.

Son I am disappoint.

Great animations. I've never been too much into this kind of games... it may be because one time when I was a kid I did spend something like 15€ of coins to try finish one.

I'm torn because I immediately distrust everything by New Capcom, especially when they bring back series by Good Capcom for nostalgia cash-money, but my only complaints are it being too dark and this animation. It does look pretty cool.

That does look lovely. Gotta admit, I immediately thought of the Half-Life 2 striders too. I didn't even realise there was an old game called Strider, I guess it makes sense seeing as I was two when it came out and I didn't really go to arcades at that age.

The slide? The thing I can see is wrong is the transition from standing position, but it's not a finished game. In general looks better animated than, say, the Flashback remake.

This was supposed to be Grin Stockholm's next Capcom game (or was it Barcelona? i don't remember)

I'd forgotten how lame the reasons for Grin's demise were (from the outside). That's my games industry depression-o-meter topped up for the day.

Haha I have Strider on Mega Drive back home too. I've never played it! Is it the one where you have a ridiculously large sword? No penis jokes please.

His weapon size is pretty average, but his technique makes it feel much bigger and he can fire white energy a large distance.

This was the PS2 version. It's super fun, although this guy is breaking it a bit.
