I can't wait to play this. I was already scared when I played dead space, so not sure how much I would pee in my pants now

I also think the fonts are just wonky looking.

    Do agree on that.

On the rest, dkm said it best.

To me the art quality is incredible for it being made by just two artists.

    RPS interview

«the way we are trying to spin this is: you are trying to achieve what you think you need to achieve. It’s down to the player. The game has multiple endings, based on how the game perceives you act, and therefore what your goal has been.

    [...]

we have one section of the game, which is shown at the end of the trailer, the sewers, and that’s interesting because there’s almost no story progression down there. There’s no links to go down there, there are warnings to say to the player not to go down there, there are visual warnings. But it leads to that ‘curiosity killed the cat’ thing. We want to play with that, to see what drives players, to see what curiosity does to people.»

I hope they take this rise in exposure and invest a little more time and money into this and make it really something special, they've got peoples attention now they just need to not mess it up and rush it

Agreed. But time and money doesn't solve everything either I looked at their "about" page and it looks like none of them have a lot of experience making games... So that makes me a bit sceptic :s (or rather, realistic?)

I really, really hope they pull it off but the pessimist in me says they won't get to the quality of Amnesia with that lack of experience Fingers crossed!

But how much experience did the Amnesia guys have back then?

From the Q&A I understood they planned to have it realeased already, to RPS they are saying they are receiving collab proposals... so maybe they'll end up pushing the release further and put some more polish on it.

They had released this before: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penumbra_(video_game_series) I played some of Penumbra: Overture but I stopped playing after getting cornered by a dog on some boxes. I was never fast enough to hit it on the head with my hammer... Amnesia felt like a big step up.

Routine is looking really interesting though, I'd also like to wander around those environments without having stuff trying to kill me
