The guys who worked on Conkers Bad Fur Day have got together to make a commentary about the game. It's got some nice insights about their limitations and how the studio worked.

It's a great game and it's interesting to hear their thoughts on it.

Bit of a warning - it's full of strong language!

Just finished watching them all and it was a nice insight into how they approached making the game and it looks like there will be more of them coming up. Perhaps they're going to do the whole game?

Still, I LOVED CBFD back in the day and enjoyed replaying it with CLR. They were just fun games with lots of nice details and jokes along the way.

I remember when I was playing it a long time ago and watching Conker standing still on the early levels, while his idle animation was playing. I wondered how such a game could have been made...

I thought someone had the terrible job of drawing every single image I saw on screen! I mean, every fucking camera angle, while the slight change of perspective would force someone to draw exactly what I saw. Like a real time screenshot. That was the exact moment when I understood what 3D really meant! I was sure that was the most logical way for the game to be developed. Thank you, 3D! </tears of joy>

    lmao

I remember when I was about 10 I tried to create a 3D model by looking at the wireframe of Donkey Kong in the Donkey Kong Country manual and trying to draw it in Microsoft Paint.

That was a Rare game too, lol.

I know. I'd love to watch them play through the whole game whilst drunk talking about how they made the game. I really enjoyed it
