The concept of platform exclusivity and its advocates need to die a fiery death.
Quantum Break - Remedy's next game!

It's certainly not gamer-friendly, but then you can buy both consoles for the price of a single decent gaming PC so I don't have that much of a problem with it within the scope of consoles. Ironically enough though, there are less platform exclusives around these days so it's more of a pain in the ass to buy the second console because there's so little stuff that I need it for — except those sweet-ass few games.

I've always bought all the consoles. But the Xbox One, even though it's nearing it's 2 year anniversary, still doesn't have a single exclusive game that gives me any incentive to buy one. Mind you, that's coming from the guy who bought the original Xbox for Halo 1 and 2 (the only games I had on it). I suffer from Halo and Gears of War fatigue, I'm not into driving games and I'm not feeling Quantum Break either which leaves me with very little. There are a few indie titles like Cuphead that I find very interesting but that doesn't justify buying the console. Especially considering they will most likely be released on other platforms at a much later date.

Ye in terms of cost it's definitely doable, it's just that with the little time I have to play, I prefer to stick with one thing only, I would hardly say "I don't have anything to play", although I remember sometime thinking that when I got the X360 and some days I wasn't feeling like playing a serious AAA and just wanted something for 30 minutes.

The more I see of this, the more I think it might be pretty cool. I just really hope they don't screw it up.

So the game ufficially will be on Windows 10 as well.
I haven't seen any news, just some users posted about in the Italian forum I follow. O don't have time to go further into the matter just found information to redeem a Windows 10 copy for free when preordering the XOne version on the official website
http://www.quantumbreak.com/windows10/
At the bottom there are the requirements as well, which seem steep. One good feature will be, for those who play on both platforms, shared progress, so you can play on either machine and not worry of replaying the same part of the story.

Several channels are posting previews and comments with new footage from the university level of the game. I gather that Remedy hosted a press event in their studio.
These guys don't give a thumbs up to the show, they don't sound impressed at all... there's a studio tour as well from another channelExternal Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. If you buy a physical xbox one version, does it include a digital windows 10 copy?
-
I did report that some posts ago @(HP)

Apparently the W10 version is 75Gb, contains the live action TV show episodes, that are instead streamed on Xbox
da hell Microsoft??The reported awful way the Windows Store works seems to be the biggest incentive to get Xboxes...

So if you pre-order, you could sell the physical copy and get the game almost free on PC? that doesn't seem right heh.
-
considering what they were originally thinking of doing with borrowed copies of physical games between Xboxes, I would speculate they have thought of something...
