Quantum Break - Remedy's next game!

Saw it and liked it. Won't be getting an Xbox 180 for it but it did look pretty interesting. Maybe a bit noisy with all that's going on, but it did held my attention for the entire duration and that's saying something.
-
Don't have time to watch more than the first two min, but looks amazing.
4K on the PC 6 months after release?

-
lol after looking at that video it struck me that no matter how much we get "next gen", gameplay always stays the same.
-
Yeah you could say that… but if it's fun I have no problems with that. A shooter is a shooter, I can't imagine anything much different, and seems we are just inventing gimmicky concepts to spice it up, like that game with gravity changes.
Alan Wake was incredibly limited, but I think that was its strength: at the toughest difficulty I enjoyed all that dancing around to dodge. Luckily that animation was good, unlike the rest.
And animations here are not perfect, there's something about them, but I don't think they're bad at all.
I'm liking the different ways to control time! I personally haven't played anything similar before so I'll trust who's saying stuff is borrowed… but I don't care
also moving in-out of line of fire freezing time makes it look like the Quicksilver scene from X-Men made into a game.My only complaint is that character seems overpowered.

Extended clip of the Gamescom demo segment now commented by Sam Lake. Gives a better idea about the gameplay. It looks pretty crazy!
-
And there's still people saying the Xbone is good for nothing and this is not the best looking thing right now?
-
lol is that narrator mimicking Werner Herzog?

One of the hobbits casted for Quantum Break

Where are the rewind investigation sequences ??

For some reason I can't grasp at the moment, I was more hyped with previous trailers... wonder if it's the new actors, which despite being me posting the news 8 months ago, I had totally forgotten.
But I'm really happy we have seen enemies during the time-freeze scenes (there was already some but I don't remember the backpack time machine mechanic).
Impressive the in-game cutscene with time warp... I would be really curious to see the tools and see how they achieve that, because since I played the first Mafia I had a concept in my mind for a timeline based map editor

-
I thought this looked really cool and well put together, it might be the game that inspires me to get an Xbox One
-
I appreciate the effort they put into this but I would still much rather see Alan Wake 2 combined with a TV show.
-
Did anyone else get sort of attached to the old hero? Feels kind of weird for them to change the cast like this.
-
Yeah I think the old faces where more charismatic! When I saw this I couldn't help but think "hey I recently seen that face! Who's that guy from?"
-
I am annoyed as shit that this will be an XBONE exclusive.
Hopefully they'll go the Alan Wake route and realize their mistake at a later stage... -
My understanding is that QB is MS' property, whether AW is Remedy's… so wouldn't hold my breath. This is the kind of exclusive they need to sell units… although all the exclusives got to Windows at least, Halo Wars is announced for PC from the start.
I bought the X360 for Alan Wake, after hearing about the backward compatibility I am hoping try expand the list to the games I haven't finished, I would trade in my X360 for a One at that point.
-
The XBone sure needs some decent exclusives that aren't repackaged old games or sequels. This is like the only thing I'm anticipating coming out for it. I wouldn't mind buying the console if there were anything to do with it.
