Quote from CorwinBy the way, I'm curious about the amount of crap you had to go through to get it released: do you need to go through certification processes, getting it rated, etc. before you can get it on Steam or does Greenlight basically let you bypass all that? Do you need to set up an official company?
I am very much in the mindset of working on an indie game in the near future, but those are questions I've never managed to get answers to. Basically, how much of a pain is it to get it out there once you're confident it's good enough?
Thanks, and congrats on the moneys and fame and all that!
Not much at all really, once you go greenlit you get on steam more or less, you obviously need to sign contracts etc
You need an official company, most annoying part. I would rather pay someone to do all that company crap than do it myself, I'm no entrepreneur, I just wanna make game-things, not run and administer company matters - not even on the smallest scale.
