Same engine features of UE4 and the new CE. Some things alleviate the burden on artists, such as dynamic occlusion and dynamic wet and dirt surfaces.

Notice you just mentioned two of the biggest engines out there, that's why this video makes me happy! It's go to see people going out there and making good tech! Companies like Techland, and Naughty Dog have absolutely awesome inhouse engines too.

Tech looks cool, but we all knew that anyway. As a game ... sounds more like Killzone: ShadowFAIL

Lol, "newest" CryEngine. Did anyone see the DX11 Crysis 2 patch? We're talking mid 2011 here for those exact features, the latest CryEngine (and Unreal4) are a lot more advanced than this. Also: Killzone TechDemo:

Oh, right, tesselation, image based reflections and other features dates from UE3 and CE3 DX11 updates.

Both PS3 and Xbox 360 were terribly bottlenecked, tight texture limits, tight shader limits, tight bandwidth. At least, this new gen around, MS talks about balance and Mark Cerny about compute units and bottlenecks.

Back on game reviews: market is overloaded with FPS.

sorry but as a huge fan of KZ2 (as far as im concerned, probably one of the best console FPS's of last gen) KZSF looks like shit. For some reason only known to themselves they have changed the art style to some dishonoured stylised thing. It looks shit. The materials all look like they are made of plastic. It almost looks cartoony.

You still get your reds, greys and browns in the slums levels, so don't worry but it defiantly doesn't look like shit. Its nice to see a contrast between the 2 faction colonies in my opinion.

Anyway, I highly enjoyed KZ 3. I'm excited for this, but disappointed we wont have the mechs back, and instead get shitty grav platforming sections.

Nothing wrong with some stylization dude, i'd rather see more creatively freedomns being taken than seeing uber realistic but grey and boring games.

I would rather they stuck with the art style all the previous games have.

Having a good stylised look doesn't have to make everything look plastic. Dishonoured managed it to pull it off.
