Steam Holiday Sale Discussion and Recommendations!

Yeah, Alan Wake is a pretty good game man, nice gameplay ideas there. Story aint too bad either.

At first I freaked out a little but I got 13 games out of it so I guess it was a good deal But shiiiitz, time to call it quits I think xD

Fucks sake, Max Payne 3 is another game I need to put on my list. Getting such a huge pile of games to play.

Nothing yesterday that was very interesting. So far, still only bought 3 games: Fez, Tomb Raider (both are completed already) and SS2. Let's see what today brings

Would recommend Mark of the Ninja, took me 2 lunch breaks to really get into it as I was a bit concerned it was getting repetitive fast, but proved to be a great game overall, one of the few I actually started a second playthrough right after finishing the first one.

I just got dead island goty for 5 bucks, always wanted to give this a shot.

Just made my first purchase of this sale, got Deus Ex HR + DLCs. Dunno when I'll play it, but for ~3€ it's an acceptable donation.

I hope the good karma will return me something sometime soon.

Bought the first three Tomb Raiders, Dark Souls and Strike Suit Infinity. I've played the latter for three hours and it's pretty awesome if you like arcade space combat simulators with spaceships that can transform into rampaging mechas. I get a Zone of the Enders/Homeworld vibe with it, it's pretty cool. There's also the regular game, Strike Suit Zero, but apparently its campaign isn't very good which is why I picked-up Infinity which is an arcade-only version.

So far bought, deadlight, darksiders 2, sanctum 2, gnomoria, gunpoint, mark of the ninja, under the ocean, viking battle for asgard and the walking dead.
