Played through the beta, enjoyed it. Was intrigued by the story and the presentation. Gameplay was solid with some nice enemy variation.

If I pick this up it will be for PvE primarily (can't stand PvP with a controller...).

Played through it again, this time as a warlock (played titan before, both to beta max level). As it stands, gonna pick this up! It's fun, yo. My only complaint is that the classes don't differ too much in playstyle (I can only assume they become more different as you progress).

I hope we get some very varied enemies and locales as you progress, starting to get a bit tired of the Fallen Vandals and the Cosmodrome.

I changed my mind and decided to give this a go.

At first it seemed to me like a game designed by a committee, with not a lot of originality. after playing a few hours im pleasantly surprised by the execution of pretty much everything.
Also loving all the RPG elements with not a lot of looting like a fallout or borderlands.

The games Hub though (they call it the tower) is extremely bland, there's all these soulless merchant npc's shouting off monologue lines every 20 seconds, I really wish they took a page from mass effect and did a citadel like environment that felt alive. That hub needs a lot of extra work to make level it up to the overall quality of the game itself.

Can't wait to see the full product. Loving the minute to minute gameplay. Is there a place where we can drop feedback and or bugs? Spotted a couple already.

Like, if you go to options and swap your special weapon, and swap back again you'll loose all your ammo.

I think that is by design. When you swap special weapons, you lose your ammo. I think it's to prevent people from swapping back and forth like crazy ("oh, we're in a large area now, swapping to sniper. oh, I went inside, shotgun it is").

Oh, ok lol. That's a really good example cos that's exactly how I stumble upon it, lmao.

Are you guys having trouble navigating certain levels? A lot of times it's not really clear to me on where to go. Also, it's also not clear how to benefit from Fire teams. At least not to me. A lot of players just run by. Plus, I feel that if you play on hard and encounter a higher level boss, it's awkward that you are pumping an warehouse of ammo's and grenades in him to bring him down.

No trouble navigating. There's always the arrow that points to the next waypoint (and waypoints are placed in a very helpful fashion to help you through the more twisty and turny areas).

I agree with the bullet-spongyness of enemies to some extent. The Devil Walker fight outstays it's welcome a tad by being so incredibly spammy and repetitive.

Yeap, setting the game has hard basically turns the enemies into bullet sponges, not very fun.

Ok, well I do see the arrows, but that didn't mean it was clear as to where to go. Maybe it was just the map I played.

Yeah, well, it's a gigantic game hard to make leading be perfect in all instances, and the art can get pretty noisy at times too.

Yes, certainly. It is beautiful though and the gun play, bow wow chicka wow wow.

Have you played in Fire teams yet?

Just saw it yesterday because a buddy at work brought in his xboxone so he could play some limited time mission. The game contrast/color is really nice. It must have been hard to make all that art cross-gen compatible.

He did hop on a hover bike though and that brought a lot of halo vibes

I was playing this this weekend with my brother and we were both so bored by it. It's just Borderlands mixed with a bit of Halo, there really is nothing special or particularly original about it.

However, it was my first experience on a PS4 and I was pleasantly surprised by how slick the PS4 is! The OS is great and it was so easy to quickly quit out of Destiny when we realised how boring it was!

Your opinions are wrong! Orbis OS's (i call it that because i'm a nerdy prick) frontend is garbage with the app bar thing, but Destiny is a pretty neato game.

Haha! I thought the OS was awesome. Maybe it was just in comparison to the 360 frontend, but I thought it seemed alright.

I'll give Destiny another go with other people at some point, but with just me and my brother playing on one PS4 (passing the controller), I was just so bored by the gunplay. Maybe it's the kinda game you have to play with other people online.

It's true, it's sort of like Borderlands but the difference is that THIS IS FUN TO PLAY AND HAS GUNPLAY THAT'S WORTH A DAMN. Also, Halo games are solid when it comes combat, so it being "mixed with Halo" isn't bad imho.

Also, fuck originality. If it's fun it's fun it's fun.

Ok fair enough fucking originality lol, but I just didn't find it that much fun! Mind you, I did try it on hard difficulty. Perhaps fps games aren't really my thing any more!

Well anyway I'm glad you guys enjoyed it; its just not for me that's all.

I've played it during this and last weekend, and I as really a "I don't give a fuck about this game" guy, but after playing it I've changed my mind. The gunplay is great (it's smooth just like HALO, well no shit ). It feels like Diablo in space in that good way. Deffo good game.
