Looking forward to this more than the hobbit films.

A couple of new set pictures. These were taken during a scene in which Robocop is revealed to the public.
For all of them:

The only thing to wonder about is how bad it will actually be?

Looks like a nanosuit to me

Does no one have any faith in hollywood anymore? If this is anything like the recent dredd remake, it will be incredible and sell almost no tickets.

Youre basing the potential crappiness of a story off a costume? How is that fair? its same thing as looking at a video game screenshot and saying "gameplay sux!"
Also, a lot of movies add cgi shit to costumes, so I still dont know why every one keeps saying this is going to suck.

The wat was in reply to "Dredd being a remake and selling no tickets" It's not a remake and it's done pretty well...

Remake, reboot... I think we're referring to the same kind of thing whether discussing Dredd or RoboCop.

I can't say that suit in the latest shots looks bad at all to me. Sure it's not the same as the iconic look the original had, but did anyone really care that they changed Batman's suit in the Christopher Nolan films in comparison to how it was depicted in the Frank Miller comics and original films alike? Surely we're all used to how remakes and reboots work by now?
It's still a guy who's all-robot apart from his face. The film itself being good or bad is impossible to tell at this point, but I have no reason to believe it couldn't be a great film.
Although nothing will replace the original as the classic that it is. -
The math is simple. Name 5 remakes/reboots that match the original in quality or even surpass it. I'm not saying they don't exist but the volume in which they are made and the very low chance that they're good should immedialety cause suspicion. Especially when it concerns cult classics like Robocop or Total Recall.
Hell, even Ridley Scott, with an enormous budget, couldn't do it.

prometheus is not a sequel/reboot tho. It just is clearly in the same universe but it should be allowed by any right to not hold the baggage.
-
It started of as a prequel and still is imo. But your right, probably not the best example
