Prepare to be disappointed. At least they could've made the suit "silver-ish" on parts similar to the original. Would look so much better.

Or they could have just stuck to the original design because there was nothing wrong with it. I wont be disappointed, I wont be watching a shitty remake of a film that has barely dated (apart from special effects). I'll stick with my special edition DVD, spasibo

Someone did a mock up version and it does at least look one step better.

Not sure if it's it true. But there's a leaked script going around which states that there will be multiple versions of Robocop and that he'll eventually become something like an Transformer.

I'll be skipping this, just like I skipped Total Recall. The only reboot/remake that I remember being better is The Thing (the 80's version of course). Also Piranha 3D was a lot of fun if your into such a thing.

This nice little infographic says enough:

This movie is being directed by the same director of Elite Squad (Tropa de Elite) so I have high hopes for this

Robocop remake would ruin Robocop for me if it wasn't for the sequels and Robocop being shit anyway.

As i see this ? they gonna make it as a prequel and tie the story somehow to the Alex Murphy story ect, this is how you make a movie today in Hollywood, right ?!

From Wikipedia:Post-production is part of filmmaking and the video production process. It occurs in the making of motion pictures, television programs, radio programs, advertising, audio recordings, photography, and digital art. It is a term for all stages of production occurring after the actual end of shooting and/or recording the completed work.

Post-production is, in fact, many different processes grouped under one name. These typically include:

    • Video editing the picture of a television program using an edit decision list (EDL)
Writing, (re)recording, and editing the soundtrack.
Adding visual special effects - mainly computer-generated imagery (CGI) and digital copy from which release prints will be made (although this may be made obsolete by digital-cinema technologies).
Sound design, Sound effects, ADR, Foley and Music, culminating in a process known as sound re-recording or mixing with professional audio equipment.
Transfer of Color motion picture film to Video or DPX with a telecine and color grading (correction) in a color suite.

Typically, the post-production phase of creating a film takes longer than the actual shooting of the film, and can take several months to complete because it includes the complete editing, color correction and the addition of music and sound. The process of editing a movie is also seen as the second directing because through the post production it is possible to change the intention of the movie. Furthermore through the use of color correcting tools and the addition of music and sound, the atmosphere of the movie can be heavily influenced. For instance a blue-tinted movie is associated with a cold atmosphere and the choice of music and sound increases the effect of the shown scenes to the audience.
