    I liked that too

Since that's alpha, I'm guessing you still have to detail some areas of the map? There were a lot of flat looking corridors and blocky brushwork (like the angled hole in the floor) which are very distracting considering the original Insurgency maps were very detailed. Looks pretty cool so far though, now post some Chechnya media so I can tell you how everything's wrong

Yea the maps is where we trail behind the most right now. We only have two level designers. A lot of time was spent prototyping gameplay layouts, encountering some dead ends with that. So we only really started a few weeks ago to polish some of the maps that we intend to release in the end.

I picked up the alpha version on steam yesterday and I played for a few hours this morning. There were lots of bugs and the only active servers were in EU so ping was 100+ but I had a ton of fun. Definitely looking forward to seeing this develop.

I've also been playing this for the past view months, already have a lot of time spent in it and although its still early days its a hell of a lot of fun. The new game modes are great, in particular 'FireFight' which is really intense, I've seen 3Dnj a few times too which was cool

I really like how its shaping up, and it seems like a really good platform to make levels for.

I was honestly surprised that it already has a functioning version of hammer included. Definitely considering mapping for it in the future

I was very tempted to pick it up myself since I noticed it's also Mac-compatible, I played the original mod and I was very caught in it... but the time i've had for playing lately, i've spent it all on CS:GO.

It should be brutally difficult to play the game while talking about it, eh? lol

We have finaly released the game on the 22th (meaning it's not in Steam Early Access anymore). Feedback has been really great so far from what i've seen. People really seem to dig the gameplay, the weapon feel, the sound and fx.

First couple reviews i've seen are in the 75-80 range. Reviews on Steam Community are almost exclusively positive.

Also seems to be some word of mouth going on. Sales have been pretty good (p3 in top sellers yesterday, currently p4) despite not much PR and reviews in big publications yet. So it's looking pretty good.

Head over to http://www.playinsurgency.com/ for some gameplay videos.

PS.: could a mod rename the thread to just Insurgency? It's not called Insurgency 2 anymore. Thx!

Well its still source right? But other than that it looks like a damn professional game, good animations, good characters, one of the nicest UI designs I have seen.
