nvm, fujifilm ex-1, nice choice, was considering one myself love the color rendition and contrast that camera throws out

Aye, been very happy with it. It certainly renders things in a unique way, and the performance in low light/high ISOs is far better than I've had in the past. That dog for example was taken at 3200, which is pretty good as far as my experience with APS-C cameras goes.

Still, plenty of learning about the actual photography side of it to come. Need to start going to beautiful locations so I can get some proper environmental photography done, HP is my inspiration there.

Not the most exciting subject matter (my apartment view), but had my first shot at long exposure tonight (cropped from this):

Took some time to understand the practicalities of the technique, but think I've got a handle on it now so looking forward to trying for a more interesting photograph at some point with it.

Here's one from the other night when the snow was disappearing, I grabbed it because I thought the colours were unusually beautiful. Nature's blorange — I didn't change the colours at all for this.

I freaking love long exposure shots, so much cleaner and sharp! good stuff dude.

Just got back from a few days in London. Lightroom pretty much had a heart attack when I tried to import them all, but I've been quite brutal about cutting the number I actually share down to a minimum. Only got like a quarter of the way through so I'll probably post some more when I have more time for processing later in the week.
