Nice trailer. I am hoping they can nail this game, because there's a lot of potential. They've said they're focusing on making it a really detailed and in-depth city, which isn't necessarily that huge but has lots of stuff to explore. That's what's lacking with Grand Theft Auto and most other open-world games: being able to go into buildings, things to interact with, etc. In a way those games' worlds feel a bit like a big set that you can look at but it's all a façade — nothing can be touched.

It does seem that too much emphasis has been put on the graphics, I'm guilty of that too. What will really make or break Watch Dogs is how the story and gameplay tie together, and I'm personally quite optimistic about both. It's going to require excellent mission design though, the same thing that keeps GTA together. It'll be nice to experience a somewhat serious story too (sex trafficking, one of the worst crimes in the world). I just hope they treat it carefully and don't make it clichéd and shitty.

I don't really care if the graphics have downgraded. If it's got a good story, excellent gameplay, and a stable framerate, I'm happy.

Yup. But I probably won't get a PS4 until fall as this is the only game for it (*maybe* Second Son) I have interest in prior to then.

I hate this new age marketing bullshit. It's basically giving away most of the game before it's even out.

I have one bit of feedback for games like this that would make a huge difference. When the game is this realistic its absolutely necessary to change how the player takes damage into a near miss system of some sort.

For example every shot that is fired at the player that is registered as a hit should play a special animation where the player just barely avoids the bullet. It can still use a screen flash that is indicative of taking damage, its even perfectly fine to have a health value to go with it. Make it feel cinematic, make combat more immersive. Please for the love of god don't take something so gorgeous AND SPAWN BLOOD SPLATS COMING OUT OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS FACE BECAUSE A GUY SHOT HIM!!!!

    Game looks absolutely amazing.
