    Sorry to hear all this man, I wish you the best, and even tho on the surface it sounds very fucked up, I'm pretty sure you're gonna go through this pretty smoothly and all will be done soon you'll see! I know a couple of men that had to take a ball off and live pretty normal lives and have kids too!

    It's a good point that we're so worried trying to get better at our craft, it's very easy to ignore our health and whatnot.

    here's me really hoping you'll get through this without too much of a scare. men can easily do without one testicle so you'll be fine. even íf the tumor is cancerous, you're lucky to be young. good luck with everything and thanks for sharing!

    Wish you all the best buddy, a few years ago I plucked up the courage to get my ball checked out after I found a lump and it was a very scary time leading up to that one appointment with the doc. Turned out to be nothing for me thankfully.

    I know it doesn't mean much, but according to my recent blood exams, statistically, there is an 85% chance of the tumor being benign. So, statistically, I'm on the winning side.

    I'm going to make a thorax and abdomen tomography next week that should further assert the nature of the tumor, though only the biopsy will ultimately reveal the truth, it's another piece of the puzzle.

    Nah I wear boxers, some are nice and loose for summer, some slightly tight but not TIGHT. Just grippy around the legs.

    Thanks man. Believe me, I treat this very seriously and I am aware of the implications should it be cancer. However I'm very objective and if there is no way of knowing for sure before the biopsy, what can I do? I once watched an episode of extreme home makeover where the family had lost the father to cancer. They etched one phrase he'd use to comfort his family about the situation, it was something like "there are a lot of things to think about; there is nothing to worry about". I just use the humor in my posts so they don't become too morbid, because in all honesty, that's not my mood at all. Just last night I had a wonderful barbecue with friends singing karaoke and later playing pictionary untill sunrise =P

    And again, nothing is confirmed and I haven't been diagnosed with cancer yet. And even if I am, it's likely to be on its initial stages and entirely treatable.

    I love life too much to stop living it to worry about losing it. If that makes any sense =P

    Best of luck with this, and thank you for sharing. Whatever happens with the biopsy, just remember that your will has so much power to overcome anything, even if it is cancer. That's why the placebo effect is so real...if you believe you are getting better, very often that's exactly what happens.

    i know a couple guys who have had testicles removed. one is in his early twenties and has been cancer free for about 5 years. the other is 40 and has been cancer-free for at least 15 years. i know there's no diagnosis yet, just relaying some real world info on the treatability.

    we sometimes may get a little "oh noes, I won't do that" when we are about to examine our body. but man, this shit is serious. we can't play with it (or can we? if you now what I mean ...).
