":z6j4il3i]Is this a troll attempt? You simply increased the contrast and saturation. If so, hah, funny.

Nice try bro, but I did a little more than that.

    Increase contrast

    Slight red overlay

    Remove color casts from shadows

Simple, but I feel it definitely adds to it.

So basically you removed some of the stylized aspects of the concept art? Why would you wanna do that? You do realize this is not a realistic scene, it's a stylized semi-cartoon one.

I guess we can agree to disagree!

Sure, but keep in mind the concept art is actually more monotone than both his scene and my edit.

Ohh I didn't see your reply, HP. I haven't worked on this scene in months now.

I didn't do too much work after the last shot, as I got another job which is currently keeping me very busy. However, there were a few little lighting tweaks, as well as some bug fixes.

And here's another shot but I'm not a huge fan. The tree colour is a bit weird, in my opinion. It may also be the lack of fog.

I will post up some NS2 screenshots soon when I have a bit more to show! Been there a month now and it's awesome

The first shot is lovely. Definitely a great piece for your portfolio. Second angle is best left out IMO.

Agreed with Thrik, I really like the first shot. Seems like seeing as it's based on the concept it seems more of a one shot kind of environment? The lighting in that shot is cool too, makes it look kinda stylised like the concept

Yeah I'm not a fan of the second shot. I spent a lot of time making the first shot work well, and the rest of the environment is a bit rushed. I won't be putting it in my 'folio

Just stumbled across this thread today, and I've gotta say I really like this. Really cool to see some stylised art going on with CryEngine.
