basically: paid off representatives all voting no, silently, against various amendments that would protect human rights and freedom of speech on the internet. a collection of people who don't understand the internet, are voting on something that could see mass censorship across america.

here is a small collection retarded:

someone suggested "Bing" as a legitimate search engine

someone held up the entire proceedings for half an hour because some guy posted somethign "offensive" on twitter during her time to talk

none of them understand what an IP address is, they don't understand that an IP address can change and that a website is not an ip address - they voted against an amendment that would clarify that for future legal cases

they don't understand DNS

they don't really understand the way the internet works, one of them suggested they get "nerds" to explain it to them because they openly don't understand how the internet works

one of the guys (mr watt) is one of the most rabid idiots in american politics, everything he has said has been pure retarded bullshit, he is so obviously paid off it's not even funny

and so much, so much more. they were talking about toasters with ip addresses. and they brought up a case where a fax machine was sued.

i want to go to america in the future but this kind of shit scares the fuck out of me. it's like watching rome fall.

Nope, Fox showed footage from Greece shown earlier in the year and attempted to pass it off as riots in Moscow, because you know Greek and cyrillic are the same so who would know In reality the protests in Russia actually lasted 3 days and the biggest was completely peaceful.
