think i recognized some of the voices from other ubisoft games too adam jensen in the car, the black dude from rs:vegas as a spec op, and a random grunt from rs:vegas as yet another terrorist

Seriously, I'm actually intrigued. I had a lot of fun playing Vegas (mostly skipped Vegas 2) so curious what they do with it. Present day / near future war on US soil is the new WW2! I guess according to MW3, WW3 is the new WW2, but whatever...

congrats on the game, watched the concept video and it had some good point of view morals attached to it. You actually care about the guy who had a bomb attached to him and for the main guys to push him off was pretty sweet. However that said i'm sort of wishing these gadgets would leave rainbow six im sick of having all my enemies glow red and have symbols for everything. Wish they could go back to rogue spear

So....I watched it. Interesting feel of Heavy Rain type mechanics, aka QTE, but that's a minor point. As far as going for a controversial perspective, it's on to something. As far as the gadgets / glowing red, yeah I find that a little out of place but I could live with it. Overall it definitely has emotional impact so kudos. This is one to keep an eye on and definitely worthy of a big cover article in Game Informer. Hope the rest of development goes well for you guys.

Cool concept video, I can't remember where I read it but there was talk about having radically different branching paths, and if that's the case then I kinda dig where this could be going, Heavy Rain meets Call of Duty . Really like the idea of humanizing NPCs as well, we've worked on some concepts where we looked into that, hope it works out for you guys.

One thing though, why does almost every shooter these days have to take place in New York? Is it because everyone has been holding their bladder and now that it's 10 years since 9/11 then everyone feels that its okay to use that locations again?

I think stuff like this should always be optional for the more hardcore players.

The cop shooting and the unintended (but they probably should've thought about it before releasing the video) implication of OWS terrorists. Is it really that hard to see anything wrong with that video? The cop shooting especially was just ridiculous.
