Like philip, I like your presentation !

Also, I like the tutorials for converting the skies, very cool !

My only one critic will be the price.

Will there be any overlap between CGTexture payed accounts and CGSkies, such as discounts or deals?

Can you explain what the difference is between just downloading skies from CGTextures and this new site? As others have mentioned it seems to be a bit pricey considering there are shitloads of perfectly fine skies I could use with my already paid for premium account on CGTextures.

    Sure.

The skies on CGTextures are not available to free users anymore, ongoing memberships still have access (like you I assume) but only the subscriptions started before CGSkies release.

The skies have been entirely reprocessed, if you look at both you should easily tell. HDR versions are now available. But most importantly, with this website online we'll be able to add many more new beautiful skies to the library (in even better quality/resolution)

The price tag is from the low end of the market (propably the cheapest at this resolution/quality).

I stumbled across this the other day. Really love the presentation,It's great to have so much freedom over seeing what you're getting before you purchase.

Also the free samples are better resolution than the free samples were on cgtextures, at least what I've browsed so far is.

Yep, they're all 5000px wide and the HDR samples are 1500px wide (those were never on CGTextures).

Glad to hear the kind words as well
