Yeah it did seem stupidly easy to smash up vehicles in GTA4. I know having it explode in a populated area can be hilarious but it's really lame to feel like the slightest scuff will turn your rare gorgeous vehicle into a pile of shit that explodes. It'd be nice if there was a bit more stickiness to cars too, i.e. they don't just disappear forever when you go a block away or do a mission. It was hard to really feel like it was worth investing in/keeping cars in IMO because I know it'd just end up disappearing because of some mission or some random crash.

Is the amount of buildings you can go in about the same as GTA4 too? I guess there are still lots of mission buildings to go in, but it would be nice if more shops and shit were usable.

The only thing a didn't like in this game so far: It's not for PC.

Even chop is low poly and low res.

my only disappointment with the game so far is the lack of enterable businesses. i want to go buy a chicken burger or rob a 7-11. i understand it would probably be pretty difficult with the sheer amount of content and the crappy hardware but it starts to feel a little bit like GTA4 where there wasn't enough to do in the city and driving around became pointless.

That sucks to hear. It's probably what annoyed me the most about GTA IV.

ok i've passed the part when you need to NEED TO tourture a guy to get info on who to take out, normaly i'm ok with this stuff in series like 24 or games and shit, but this guy you had to torture was nice IMO and i didn't know what he did wrong/bad ect, so i didn't have any hate in me to hurt him, tbh this part was weak imo, and you cant skip it or other shit ;/

So they've changed the driving physics? I still remember almost smashing the pad up because I'd failed Brucie's race mission in IV for the 90th time...

Random question, when playing Tennis sometimes the little circle where the ball will hit on the floor turns red, anyone knows what this means? As with old GTA fashion, they don't explain how the game works too well, you have to figure out by yourself.

I think it corresponds to the type of swing you should use. Sometimes it turns blue or yellow for x/y. Probably different colors on PS3.

Regarding cars and the garage and such... How does it all work?

Cos I've been on missions and when I came back, driving miles away, my original car is still there if I parked it in the parking lot near the mission. Do I always need to "park" it, or will anywhere do and there's no volume registering what car I arrived in?

What happens if I upgrade a car and leave it somewhere? Will it unspawn and all my money gone? Do I need to leave it in the garage once and it will always spawn back in the garage?

When does a car get confiscated by the police? Cos that happened yesterday and had no idea what car they meant, so I walked up to the depot and paid $250 without even knowing which car was in it and it turned out to be a total piece of shit car? Huh?

Each character has their own car. So that will always be parked outside their house.

I'm not sure how the game decides what to impound or not. Does it only impound one car?
